Welcome to our Virtual Market!
Miami County Locally Grown is a year-round, online farmer’s market
serving Miami County, Ohio and the surrounding communities!
All of our producers are located within a 30 mile radius of beautiful downtown Troy.
We take our job of providing the freshest LOCAL food to you very seriously!
HOW IT WORKS:
Each week, our farmers, artisans, and producers list on our website all the products they currently have to offer.
Products will vary weekly depending on the time of year, but our wide variety will include vegetables, fruits, meats, eggs, baked goods, desserts, dairy products, fresh flowers, live plants, jams, jellies, fruit butters, dried herbs and mixes, teas, sugar alternatives such as maple syrup, honey and sorghum, soaps, body care products, and artisan crafts for the kitchen and home.
Every Tuesday at 8pm, a list of available products is sent by e-mail to everyone with a free Miami County Locally Grown Virtual Market account. Customers may place their order for the week any time between Tuesday at 8pm and Sunday at 8pm. Orders are only placed via this website, and payment will not be made until pickup. Be sure to look for your confirmation receipt, making sure your order was received.
Vendors receive customized “harvest reports” by email Sunday night after market closes for the week, in time to prepare customer orders fresh for market pickup Tuesday afternoons.
PICKING UP ORDERS:
Vendors drop off customer orders on Tuesdays from 3-4:45pm, and customers pickup their entire order from 5-7pm.
Our pickup location is First Place Christian Center. Their address is 16 W. Franklin Street Troy, Ohio 45373. Just one block from the Square in downtown Troy, First Place is located at the corner of Franklin and Cherry Streets. If you’re familiar with the downtown Troy Cherry St. farmer’s market, First Place is on the south side of the street from the market.
This market was created thanks to a collaborative effort between the Miami County Local Food Council, the Ohio State University Extension, and the USDA.
